What can I say about this wedding day?
A candlelit ceremony….fireworks…a cow presented to the head table….it wasn’t anything ordinary, that’s for certain.
When I asked Lindsay, she said she wanted her wedding day to be relaxed, easygoing and fun.
Alex, well….he wanted it “to be over”. I don’t buy it Alex…I think you secretly liked having my camera pointed at you all day.![]()

I met Suzanne online over three years ago now, and save for a “do I know you?” stare-down in Costco, this was the first time we’d met in person!
Herself a wonderful wedding and portrait photographer out of the Yarmouth area, I immediately said yes when Suzanne asked me to do her maternity portraits. It’s a treat and a stressor to shoot other photographers…the treat part is that they understand light, posing and direction. The stressor is…that they understand light, posing and direction.![]()
The first time I shot for another photographer, we turned into studio partners and great friends…..seeing as Suzanne and I both already have studio spaces, she’s gonna have to settle for the friends part![]()
Merci Suzanne et Jean-Guy! Bonne chance et feliciations! ♥

I promised Andrea and Luc that I would have a blog post up for them while they were off on their 3 week European honeymoon…..and then I thought, I can do better than that![]()
A beautiful fall day was the backdrop for Andrea and Luc’s intimate wedding ceremony yesterday…..sun in the sky, warm breeze, protest in the air ;)
Approximately 35 people filled the Halifax Club with as much love and laughter as a packed cathedral. It was an absolute pleasure to witness, and I wish them both every happiness. ♥

First time to Newfoundland (amazing).
First time having to board a plane outside the airport (what if it rains?!)
First stay in a B&B (cozy).
