Sleepy Baby | Halifax Newborn Photographer

8 day old Adel was, hands down, the easiest newborn I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was barely able to get a shot with his eyes open, and he was still sound asleep when I left.

Needless to say, I had a hard time choosing which images to share for his post, so I am sharing a bit more than usual. ♥

An HMCS St. John’s Engagement | Halifax Wedding Photographer

Erin, Rod and I hit the park yesterday afternoon for some gorgeous “golden hour” light and then headed down to the Shipyard where we had the privelege of shooting aboard HMCS St. John’s.

Note to self: next time you are granted permission to shoot in a “no camera” zone…bring ID……and no joking with security.

I’m super stoked to shoot Erin & Rod’s wedding next July…….it’ll be “a time” as they say;)

Big thanks to my buddy Jimmy for being my wingman/assistant on this one. Trying to hold up a 5 ft umbrella, in the gusting wind atop a frigate deck, by myself would have been an interesting sight to behold. I owe you one.

And sidenote…..everyone should look as gorgeous as Erin when they laugh.

Seriously.

Watch Me Grow! | Halifax Portrait Photographer

I thought this would be a fun little collection of just some of my smallest clients……time goes by so quickly…before you know it I’ll be shooting their weddings;)

Mini Session Mania | Halifax Family Photographer

It is definitely family portrait time!

I love these quick little minis because they are the perfect opportunity to update last season’s photo, AND almost all of the bookings are from previous clients so I get to watch these kids grow from year to year.

Three of these families have been with me since the “newborn” stage (can you spot them?!)… and for some this was the third, fourth, FIFTH photoshoot, yay!

The other nice thing about minis is that it gives new clients an opportunity for a “test drive” before commiting to a full session!

Love y’all ♥

Strong | Halifax Maternity Photographer

Strong is the word I think of when looking at Meredith’s photos from today.

Beautiful, of course…but I think she exudes strength….independence.

What a lucky little boy Noah will be.
